Terms of use

1. Operator and service

YB Video is operated by Yoann Bierling, entrepreneur individuel (micro-entrepreneur), 20 rue Erckmann Chatrian, 57400 Sarrebourg, France, SIRET 52300085900026. Contact: contact@ybierling.com. YB Video provides an AI-assisted service for creating short videos from user instructions and optional visual references.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You must be legally capable of entering into the applicable contract and use the service lawfully.

3. Plans, prices and payments

Prices are displayed in US dollars. Available products, prices and credit allowances are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. The payment confirmation and invoice or receipt are provided through the checkout/payment process. Applicable taxes, if any, are determined according to the customer's location and applicable rules.

4. Credits and generation

Credits are usage units and have no cash value. Each Low video costs 100 credits; each High video costs 300 credits. Both qualities currently target one 10-second, 480p video with audio. Actual availability depends on the enabled provider and model.

One-time credit packs: Starter $14.99 for 300 credits; Creator $39.99 for 1,000; Studio $117.99 for 3,000; Max $349.99 for 9,000. One-time credits expire 360 days after purchase. Mixed Low and High usage is allowed.

Monthly subscriptions: Starter $10.99 for 300 credits/month; Creator $32.97 for 1,000; Studio $87.92 for 3,000; Max $230.79 for 9,000. Annual subscriptions: Starter $119.99/year for 300 credits/month; Creator $359.99/year for 1,000/month; Studio $959.99/year for 3,000/month; Max $2,499/year for 9,000/month. Annual credits are released monthly. Subscription credits do not roll over and expire at the end of their monthly allocation period.

Credits are deducted when a generation is submitted after the provider route is selected. If generation fails, YB Video will review whether the provider billed the generation. Credits will be restored when YB Video has not been billed for that failed generation. If the provider billed YB Video, credits are not automatically restored.

5. Subscriptions and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected billing interval until cancelled. You may cancel through the subscription management option where available or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals; access and remaining subscription benefits continue until the end of the already-paid billing period, subject to the applicable plan terms and law. Annual credits continue to be released monthly only while the subscription remains active under the applicable billing terms.

6. Refunds and withdrawal rights

After the applicable statutory withdrawal period, purchases are not eligible for a voluntary refund except where YB Video agrees otherwise. This policy does not exclude refunds, remedies or withdrawal rights required by applicable law, including rights relating to defective or non-conforming digital services.

Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, its duration and any exception or loss of right depend on the customer's legal status, the type of digital service, and the consents and acknowledgements obtained at checkout. Nothing in these terms waives a right that cannot legally be waived.

For a refund or billing question, contact ybvideodisputes@yb.digital and include the account email and payment reference. Do not send payment-card details.

7. User content and acceptable use

You must own or have all permissions and rights required to upload images and request content. You may not submit content or use outputs in a way that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights, violates applicable law, or breaches the policies of the AI providers used to process the request. You must not use the service to create unlawful, deceptive, exploitative or abusive content, or to impersonate a person without appropriate authorization.

You remain responsible for your prompts, uploaded material, generated videos and their publication or use. YB Video may reject, suspend or remove access to requests or accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, the service or legal compliance.

8. AI-generated output and commercial use

AI outputs may be inaccurate, inconsistent, incomplete, similar to outputs created for others, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before use. You may use generated videos commercially only to the extent permitted by applicable law and the terms and rights governing the underlying provider, model, input content and output.

9. Availability and changes

Provider availability, model capabilities, generation times and output retention may vary. Generated videos may be hosted by the provider, and their URLs may expire. YB Video does not promise permanent video storage. We may update features and supported providers; material changes to paid plans will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the relevant subscription.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law. For business users, YB Video is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss to the extent permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for maintaining copies of outputs you need and for verifying that their use is lawful and suitable.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to mandatory protections or jurisdiction rules that apply to a customer under applicable law.

Referral program: If enabled, approved affiliates may receive a 5% commission on qualifying subscription payments made by customers attributed to their referral link. Commissions are recurring for as long as the referred subscription remains active and qualifying payments are collected. Commissions are subject to a 45-day hold and are not payable for refunded, disputed or reversed payments. One-time credit pack purchases do not generate commissions. Payouts are made manually; affiliates must provide valid payout details and are responsible for their own tax reporting. YB Video may suspend or terminate participation for fraud, self-referrals, misleading promotion or breach of these terms.
